Period 8
What is it like working from home?
I have never worked from home before and it’s not only a first for me but also a large part of the population, not only students. Working from home is not that bad at the moment but in the beginning, I struggled with working from home and being on lockdown. This is mostly because I am a person that needs a daily routine, that can be repeated, in order to be more productive and make my day easier to go through. So it’s been great since I adapted to this style of working.
What I learned about my world/community based on the reactions?
Based on the reactions of the world/ community I learned that there are certainly a lot of positive things that communities all over the world do amidst this situation. There are lots of people who responded with kindness by donating supplies and food all over the world. And celebrities amongst others that make staying home more bearable. There has also been some very negative reactions around the world; primarily racism. Although I can’t say how many have been a victim of racism during this pandemic, I can confidently say that it exists and people suffer from that.
Personal feelings and thoughts about what is happening right now.

2020 has been such a wild year that UFO videos that were officially released by the pentagon are barely relevant in the news media. The whole world was not prepared for this virus to spread like the way it did and it might take years to financially recover from this. But I feel hopeful that this will all end sooner than later with minimal deaths. This showed me a lesson I think is important; that whether you’re prepared for a situation or not, it’s all about the way you respond.
