Aim: How can we familiarize ourselves with Macbeth?

Today in class we started off by discussing our first impressions of Shakespeare and our expectations in Macbeth. We've been warned about any sort of accident or cursed incident that may occur while reading and analyzing Macbeth. We talked about some ideas that revolve around Macbeth such as supernatural occurrences, tyranny and cruelty, and unchecked ambition.

All the actors in the play were men as women were believed to be to weak in emotion to act. The class learned that there have been many weird connections with Macbeth and death, and it could be coincidental but maybe not.

We have to change teams with half the team staying the same, and make up a new team name. 

Macbeth is associated with many sayings and many movies and books alluded to it. Tomorrow the class has a quiz and we need to have either a pen or pencil for class activity.

I learned that there have been a lot of incidents to prove why Macbeth is a "cursed" play and whether it is all coincidental or not is not known. i personally will be on a lookout everyday while reading Macbeth just in case. We learned some fun facts about the incidents and what happened. i learned this to be prepared for what we are about to read and get familiar with the topic.
