What is it like working from home?
Working from home is very different from school. The environment is completely
different. In my opinion, working from home is very distracting because of all the things I
have access to. For example, I can go to play games or even take a nap if I wanted to.
As of right now, the workload provided by my teachers has not been too crazy that I
can’t handle. Some people are stressing about the work they are receiving but I don’t
feel that yet. I also believe that working from home has ruined my sleep schedule. Every
night I go to bed late and wake up for my 9 am class. One huge benefit of distance
learning is that I don’t have to wake up early and travel to school in the morning. Distant
learning has been great lately but I do miss all my friends.

What are the updates around the world/community regarding the virus?
As of right now, there are 981,221 confirmed cases with the United States leading the
charge. In the United States, New York has became the epicenter of the outbreak. New
York has around 90,000 cases and it is only growing. However, one reason why New
York has the most cases is that we are also doing the most tests. The other day
California has canceled school for the rest of the school year. They will continue to be
learning online during this pandemic. A newly classified report to the White House
stated that China has been under-reporting the number of cases and deaths they have,
U.S Intelligence says.

Your own personal feelings and thoughts about what is happening right now
As of right now I still can’t believe that this is all happening. It’s crazy to think that there
is a pandemic out there in the world. At first, I thought this virus wasn’t that crazy and it
was only a greater strain of the flu. However, as there were more and more cases I
started to believe the magnitude of this virus. Right now stuck at home I am blessed and
thankful for the people in the front lines of the fight. I also believe a lot of people are also
hoarding a lot of supplies and food that other people actually need. I also don’t
understand why people are buying so much toilet paper. Am I misunderstanding
something or is toilet paper the cure to this virus?
